Application Speed in both php and Python code example

Example: php vs python speed

Eventhough PHP might be faster than Python in most cases, they
cannot be compared. PHP serves a completely different purpose, namely the web, 
than Python, a general purpose language.
  
So comparing these two is not a good comparison because they simply have not 
been made with the same goals in mind.
