Calculating a log-rank test using coxph
in the package 'survival' (same package you are already using in your analysis) for this data set will provide you the P-value that says whether survival at three years is different between the three groups (highly significant in this example). You can also use the same model to generate P-values and hazard ratios for the association of edema with cause-specific survival.
