constructor in class code example
Example 1: constructor
A constructor is a special method used to initialize objects in java.
we use constructors to initialize all variables in the class
when an object is created. As and when an object
is created it is initialized automatically with the help of
constructor in java.
We have two types of constructors:
Default Constructor
Parameterized Constructor
public classname(){
}
public classname(parameters list){
}
Example 2: classes and constructors
using namespace std;
class Line {
public:
void setLength( double len );
double getLength( void );
Line();
private:
double length;
};
Line::Line(void) {
cout << "Object is being created" << endl;
}
void Line::setLength( double len ) {
length = len;
}
double Line::getLength( void ) {
return length;
}
int main() {
Line line;
line.setLength(6.0);
cout << "Length of line : " << line.getLength() <<endl;
return 0;
}
