Example 1: rows count in pand

For a dataframe df, one can use any of the following:

1)len(df.index)
2)df.shape[0]
3)df[df.columns[0]].count() (slowest, but avoids counting NaN values in the first column)

Example 2: get all count rows pandas

count_row = df.shape[0]  # gives number of row count
count_col = df.shape[1]  # gives number of col count

Example 3: pandas count rows in column

>>> df.count(axis='columns')
0    3
1    2
2    3
3    3
4    3
dtype: int64

Example 4: get number of rows pandas

number_of_rows = len(df)

Example 5: Returns the number of rows in this DataFrame

# Returns the number of rows in this DataFrame

df.count()
# 2

Example 6: pandas count number of rows with value
