redirect with message laravel code example

Example 1: laravel redirect back

return Redirect::back()->withErrors(['msg', 'The Message']);

and inside your view call this

@if($errors->any())
<h4>{{$errors->first()}}</h4>
@endif

Example 2: previous url laravel

1. The cleanest way seems to be using the url() helper:
	{{ url()->previous() }}

2. URL::previous() works for me in my Laravel 5.1 project. Here is Laravel 5.1
  doc for previous() method, which is accessible through URL Facade.

3. You can still try alternatives, in your views you can do:

	{{ redirect()->getUrlGenerator()->previous() }}
						OR
	{{ redirect()->back()->getTargetUrl() }}

Example 3: return redirect with message laravel

Route::post('user/profile', function () {
    // Update the user's profile...

    return redirect('dashboard')->with('status', 'Profile updated!');
});

Example 4: Redirect::route('profile') and with() in laravel

// For a route with the following URI: profile/{id}

return redirect()->route('profile', [$user]);

Example 5: laravel redirect with message to section

//redirct to previous page with message at a specific setion :)
return redirect(url()->previous() .'#comments')->with('success', 'Data Your Comment has been created successfully');

Example 6: Redirect::route('profile') and with() in laravel

// For a route with the following URI: profile/{id}

return redirect()->route('profile', ['id' => 1]);
