bash: code: command not found code example

Example 1: bash: gedit: command not found

First, try this:
sudo apt-get install gedit

or You can try this

sudo apt-get purge gedit gedit-common
sudo apt-get clean

After this try reinstalling with

sudo apt-get install gedit

Example 2: bash: nvm: command not found

source ~/.nvm/nvm.sh

Example 3: command code not found mac

sudo ln -fs "/Applications/Visual Studio Code.app/Contents/Resources/app/bin/code" /usr/local/bin/

Example 4: code . not working mac

ps -A | grep Visual\ Studio\ Code | awk '{print $1}' | xargs kill -9

Example 5: command not found: code

Open the Command Palette via (⇧⌘P) and type 
shell command to find the Shell Command:

> Install 'code' command in PATH** command
