Example 1: install code command on mac

Open VCode
press CMD + SHIFT + P
type 'shell command' 
select 'Install code command in path'
navigate to any project from the terminal and type 'code .'

Example 2: open vscode from terminal mac

open Visual Studio Code 
press Cmd+shift+p
search for ``Shell command: install 'code' command in PATH.`` and click it
works in terminal
