Example 1: center a div in css
.container {
display: flex;
justify-content: center;
align-items: center;
}
Example 2: css center image
.center {
display: block;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}
Example 3: css align center
//HTML
<div class="parent">
<span>Hello World</span>
</div>
//CSS
.parent {
display: flex;
justify-content: center;
align-items: center;
}
Example 4: css centraliz page
Use a container element and set a specific max-width.
A common width many websites use is 960px.
To actually center the page, add margin: auto.
The following example will center the website on screens that are wider than
500px.On screens that are less than 500px wide,
it will span the whole of the page:
<style>
.content {
max-width: 500px;
margin: auto;
}
</style>
<body>
<div class="content">
<!-- Page content -->
</div>
</body>
Example 5: align a div in center of another div
#container {
width: 640px;
height: auto;
margin: 0 auto;
padding: 10px;
position: relative;
}
Example 6: how to center div
<!DOCTYPE html>
<!--clearfix-->
<html>
<head>
<style>
div {
border: 3px solid #4CAF50;
padding: 5px;
}
.img1 {
float: right;
}
.clearfix {
overflow: auto;
}
.img2 {
float: right;
}
</style>
</head>
<body>
<p>In this example, the image is taller than the element containing it, and it is floated, so it overflows outside of its container:</p>
<div>
<img class="img1" src="pineapple.jpg" alt="Pineapple" width="170" height="170">
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Phasellus imperdiet, nulla et dictum interdum...
</div>
<p style="clear:right">Add a clearfix class with overflow: auto; to the containing element, to fix this problem:</p>
<div class="clearfix">
<img class="img2" src="pineapple.jpg" alt="Pineapple" width="170" height="170">
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Phasellus imperdiet, nulla et dictum interdum...
</div>
</body>
</html>
