Example 1: open vscode in terminal sudo

sudo code --user-data-dir="~/.vscode-root"

Example 2: install code command on mac

Open VCode
press CMD + SHIFT + P
type 'shell command' 
select 'Install code command in path'
navigate to any project from the terminal and type 'code .'

Example 5: open vs code from terminal

Launch VS Code.

Restart the terminal
Navigate to project folder in terminal, 
Type code . press enter
