Disable screen turn off

I have these lines in my ~/.xinitrc file:

# turn off Display Power Management Service (DPMS)
xset -dpms
setterm -blank 0 -powerdown 0

# turn off black Screensaver
xset s off

This prevents the display from turning off during watching a movie (I'm also using XMonad).
