find service using a port code example

Example 1: find out process using port windows

netstat -ano | findstr 8080

Example 2: find which service is using port

netstat -aon | findstr<port_number>  

 tasklist | findstr 9260

Example 3: cli check what is listening on port

lsof -i tcp:53 #Check what is listening on port 53
lsof -t -i tcp:53 #Return the process PID listening on port 53
