Example 1: php get data from url

Example 2: get data from url after and before "/" using php

You may try this below logic

You need to explode the request_uri by "/" and get the value between the "/"

my testing url like : https://test.com/start_exam/test123/testing
And i want "test123" get extracted from url

Then we follow the below logic to achieve this
our request uri will be "start_exam/test123/testing"

$request_url = explode("/",$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']);
echo $request_url[1];

Output:
test123
