Example 1: git check upstream url

git remote show origin

Example 2: show remote git

# If you require full output and you are on a network that can reach the remote repo where the origin resides 
git remote show origin

git remote set-url origin https://github.com/USERNAME/REPOSITORY.git

Example 4: show remote git

# when you are not connected to the network, you can use this
