git remove last pushed commit code example
Example 1: undo commit
# KEEP CHANGES
git reset --soft HEAD~1
# REMOVE CHANGES
git reset --hard HEAD~1
Example 2: cancel a commit not pushed
git reset --soft HEAD~
Example 3: git remove commits from branch after push
git reset --hard <last_working_commit_id>
So we must not reset to the commit_id that we don't want.
Then sure, we must push to remote branch:
git push --force
Example 4: delete a pushed commit
# delete the last commit
$git reset –hard HEAD~
Example 5: github undo last pushed commit
git reset <previous label or sha1>
git commit -am "blabla"
git push -f <remote-name> <branch-name>
Example 6: undo last commit pushed
git reset # commitId
# Exemple
git reset 5310517
