8 chars unique String in Java
The uniqueness property depends on the scope in which you use it. Java can certainly generate random strings, although if you want a universally unique identifier you can use UUID
class.
String unique = UUID.randomUUID().toString();
You can use RandomStringUtils
import org.apache.commons.lang.RandomStringUtils;
public class RandomStringUtilsTrial {
public static void main(String[] args) {
System.out.print("8 char string >>>");
System.out.println(RandomStringUtils.random(8, true, true));
}
}
