Calculating median - javascript

Change your median method to this:

function median(values){
  if(values.length ===0) throw new Error("No inputs");

  values.sort(function(a,b){
    return a-b;
  });

  var half = Math.floor(values.length / 2);

  if (values.length % 2)
    return values[half];

  return (values[half - 1] + values[half]) / 2.0;
}

Here's another solution:

function median(numbers) {
    const sorted = Array.from(numbers).sort((a, b) => a - b);
    const middle = Math.floor(sorted.length / 2);

    if (sorted.length % 2 === 0) {
        return (sorted[middle - 1] + sorted[middle]) / 2;
    }

    return sorted[middle];
}

console.log(median([4, 5, 7, 1, 33]));
