OneDrive error: OneDrive cannot connect to windows

What worked for me is following the steps in the link https://www.drivethelife.com/windows-10/there-was-a-problem-connecting-to-onedrive-windows-10.html.
In an elevated prompt, type in:

• netsh int ip reset
• netsh winsock reset

Then reboot
