iterating over a map code example

Example 1: java for map

Map<String, String> map = new HashMap<>();

for(Entry<String, String> entry:map.entrySet()) {
  System.out.println("key: "+entry.getKey()+" value: "+entry.getValue());
}

Example 2: java foreach map

map.forEach((k, v) -> System.out.printf( " %s : %d \n" , k,v) );

Example 3: go iterate over map

for k, v := range m {
    fmt.Printf("key[%s] value[%s]\n", k, v)
}

// or

for k := range m {
    fmt.Printf("key[%s] value[%s]\n", k, m[k])
}

Example 4: iterate hashmap java

public static void printMap(Map mp) {
    Iterator it = mp.entrySet().iterator();
    while (it.hasNext()) {
        Map.Entry pair = (Map.Entry)it.next();
        System.out.println(pair.getKey() + " = " + pair.getValue());
        it.remove(); // avoids a ConcurrentModificationException
    }
}
