python dictionary update by appending to previous list code example

Example 1: dictionary in python does not support append operation

dict_append = {"1" : "Python", "2" : "Java"}
dict_append.update({"3":"C++"})  # append doesn't supported in dict

Example 2: python dictionary of lists append

myDict = {}

# Adding list as value

# creating a list

# Adding this list as sublist in myDict
myDict["key1"].append(lst)

# Print Dictionary
print(myDict)
