Example 1: use python3 as default mac

ln -s -f /usr/local/bin/python3.7 /usr/local/bin/python

Example 2: set python 3 as default ubuntu

sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/python python /usr/bin/python3.4 1
sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/python python /usr/bin/python3.6 2

Example 3: set python3 as default mac

# it is said not to do but I used it anyway, because of the conveniency
$ echo "alias python=/usr/local/bin/python3.7" >> ~/.zshrc
