Example 1: remove item from list python

# removes item with given name in list
list = [15, 79, 709, "Back to your IDE"]
list.remove("Back to your IDE")

# removes last item in list
list.pop()

# pop() also works with an index...
list.pop(0)

# ...and returns also the "popped" item
item = list.pop()

Example 2: delete items from python list

l = list(range(10))
print(l)
# [0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9]

del l[0]
print(l)
# [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9]

del l[-1]
print(l)
