Example 1: install python 3.8 ubuntu

- Run the following commands as root or user with sudo access to update the packages list and install the prerequisites:

sudo apt update
sudo apt install software-properties-common

- Add the deadsnakes PPA to your system’s sources list:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:deadsnakes/ppa
When prompted press Enter to continue:

- Press [ENTER] to continue or Ctrl-c to cancel adding it.
- Once the repository is enabled, install Python 3.8 with:

sudo apt install python3.8

- Verify that the installation was successful by typing:

python3.8 --version

Example 2: pip install python 3

You cannot just pip install python3 because it is not a library.

If you want to install the latest python3:
https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.8.2/python-3.8.2.exe
