Example 1: sql query to get the number of rows in a table

SELECT COUNT(*) FROM tablename

Example 2: To count number of rows in SQL table

SELECT count(*)
FROM information_schema.columns
WHERE table_name = 'Your_table_nale';

Example 3: how to get row count

Get the row count of the ResultSet
Move the pointer to the last row and get the row number

  rs.last();
        int rowCount = rs.getRow();
        System.out.println(rowCount);

Example 4: how to count row

Row number always starts with 1
My last rowNumber is my row count
When I move my cursor to the last location to get rowCount
