Example 1: how to connect remote repo with local repo

git remote add origin <remote_repo_url>
git push --all origin

If you want to set all of your branches to 
automatically use this remote repo when you use git pull, add --set-upstream to the push:

git push --all --set-upstream origin

Example 2: git add remote

$ git remote add origin https://github.com/user/repo.git
# Set a new remote

$ git remote -v
# Verify new remote
> origin  https://github.com/user/repo.git (fetch)
> origin  https://github.com/user/repo.git (push)

Example 3: git add remote

git remote add heroku https://git.heroku.com/arrecs.git
git remote -v
-> heroku	https://git.heroku.com/arrecs.git (fetch)
-> heroku	https://git.heroku.com/arrecs.git (push)

git remote remove heroku
git remote -v

Example 4: git connect to remote repository
