Example 1: push a local branch

Create a new branch:
git checkout -b feature_branch_name

Edit, add and commit your files.

Push your branch to the remote repository:
git push -u origin feature_branch_name

Example 2: create a branch command

$ git checkout -b [name_of_your_new_branch]

Example 3: git push in a new branch

git checkout -b <branch>
git add .
git commit -m "comment"
git push -u origin <branch>

Example 4: create a branch command

$ git push origin [name_of_your_new_branch]
