Example 1: git discard local changes

# Discarding local changes (permanently) to a file:
git checkout -- <file>

# Discard all local changes to all files permanently:
git reset --hard

Example 2: discard unstaged changes git

#For all unstaged files in current working directory use:
git checkout -- .
#For a specific file use:
git checkout -- path/to/file/to/revert

Example 3: git delete changes

git clean -df
git checkout -- .

Example 4: git remove my local changes and pull from master

git reset --hard <your commit hash key>
