Example 1: git push to branch
# If its your first push
git push -u origin BRANCH
# Otherwise
git push origin BRANCH
Example 2: push a local branch
Create a new branch:
git checkout -b feature_branch_name
Edit, add and commit your files.
Push your branch to the remote repository:
git push -u origin feature_branch_name
Example 3: push from branch to master
$ git push origin develop:master
Example 4: push from branch to master
$ git push <remote> <local branch name>:<remote branch to push into>
#local branch name can be HEAD if you dont want to specifie the local branch
