Example 1: save thing in pickle python

import pickle

a = {'hello': 'world'}

with open('filename.pickle', 'wb') as handle:
    pickle.dump(a, handle, protocol=pickle.HIGHEST_PROTOCOL)

with open('filename.pickle', 'rb') as handle:
    b = pickle.load(handle)

print a == b

Example 2: create pickle file python

file_name='my_file.pkl'
f = open(file_name,'wb')
pickle.dump(my_data,f)
f.close()

Example 3: pickle save

pickle.dump( favorite_color, open( "save.p", "wb" ) )

Example 4: save a file as a pickle

with open('mypickle.pickle', 'wb') as f:
    pickle.dump(some_obj, f)

# note that this will overwrite any existing file
