Example 1: mysql import sql file
mysql -u username -p database_name < file.sql
Example 2: linux command line import mysql database
mysql -u username -p -h dbhost dbname < filename.sql
Example 3: import mysql command line without database
mysql -u username -p database_name < file.sql
Note-1: It is better to use the full path of the SQL file file.sql.
Note-2: Use -R and
They are not copied by default.
