Example 1: ubuntu delete all files with extension

cd 
find . -type f -iname \*.jpg -delete

Example 2: remove all files inside directory linux

# remove everything in a directory 
rm /path/to/dir/*
# remove all sub-directories and files
rm -r /path/to/dir/*

Example 3: linux remove folder and all his content

rm -rf /path/to/directory/*

Example 4: ubuntu delete directory and all files

rm -rf ./test

Example 5: ubuntu delete contents of folder

To remove all non-hidden files and sub-directories (along with all of their contents) in a
