update installed package through pip code example

Example 1: python update installed packages

py2
$ pip install pip-review

$ pip-review --local --interactive

py3
$ pip3 install pip-review

$ py -3 -m pip_review --local --interactive

Example 2: update every python library

(Do it in windows powershell)

pip freeze | %{$_.split('==')[0]} | %{pip install --upgrade $_}

Example 3: upgrading a pip package while importing it

pip install [package_name] --upgrade

Example 4: update all packages in cmd

sudo pip install [package_name] --upgrade
