Just for fun, optimizing the code from the previous posts using conditionals, drawing definitions, and nesting instructions.

I'm not absolutely satisfied with the solution I provide but it's a start.
It's not finished but you get the idea.
Unfortunately, it's not generalized enough to my taste, I'll probably work on it.
